Easing the journey to retirement.

Retiring from public service can be confusing. The retiree must navigate multiple agencies on tight, unforgiving deadlines, and there are very few sources of clear direction.

We decided to address this deficit by creating the Journey to Retirement web app. By asking a few questions about the retiree, the website helps the retiree find out who they need to speak to, what paperwork they need to file, and what decisions they’ll need to make to retire successfully. The app is simple and clear, avoiding the jargon and bureaucratic language that often thwarts retirees on their journey.

The Journey to Retirement goes live in the autumn of 2021.
